Online Craps - USA
Craps tables are always crowded at United States casinos looking for fun, socialize and real money

Craps was originally a French game that came to North America with French explorers. Initially the game took root on the south east coast of America and spread throughout the country once it was adopted by the casino river boats of the Mississippi.
Just to make sure that everyone is on the same page, we'll explain the extreme basics of how online craps works. Craps is a game played with dice. Dice, for those of you who don't know, are six sided cubes with dots or numerals on each side that indicate the numeric value of that side of the die. There are other dice, such as 4, 8, 10, and 20 sided, but the most common dice by far that are used in casino games are the six sided dice.

During an online craps game these dice are tossed onto the Craps table. Thanks to the laws of probability, and providing that the dice are not weighted, the dice will return a perfectly random result. Please remember that in craps whenever we talk about a number as the result of a dice roll we are referring to the value of both dice added together. Remember, Craps uses TWO dice!

Having two dice instead of one adds an extra layer of depth to the game. Instead of having just 6 different roll outcomes there are actually 36 different possible dice values in the game. 36 is the perfect number as it is just enough to support many betting possibilities but not too many. Any more dice and the game would quickly become far to complex.

Unlike the classic scene of craps being played on door steps and street corners, the craps found in the casinos today are actually played on tables. The online craps tables have a startlingly complex layout at first glance. This is because the game itself has one of the most complex and varied betting structures of almost all the casino games out there. The felt is divided up into numbers and grids that reflect these bets, but don't be too alarmed by what you first see. Craps may seem like a complex game but the actual basis of the game is extremely simple; to bet on the outcome of any given roll of the dice.

What makes the game complex is the fact that so many different betting options exist. It is common for a new player to walk into a casino take a glance at the craps table and avert their eyes because it looks so complicated. But despite the fact that there are so many bets in craps, you really only need to know one bet to be able to play a perfectly fun game, and also have a good chance of winning. These basic bets are called Pass bets.
In most craps games everyone at the table gets a turn to roll the dice. This is one of the big differences with online craps, where the dice are rolled by the computer. But in real world craps you don't actually have to roll if you don't want to anyway, so in the end it might not be all that different.

The first roll of the dice that a craps player makes is called the "come-out" roll. If you roll a 7 or 11 that's called a "natural" and you win, plus you get to roll again. If you roll a 2, 3 or 12 those are all called "craps" and you lose, but you still get to roll again.
The only other possible numbers you can roll are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 and if one of those numbers shows up, then that number becomes your "point" and the object of the game is to roll that number again before you roll a 7.
If 7 shows up before your "point" number does then you lose and the dice move on to the next shooter. If your "point" number shows up before a 7 does, then you have made a "pass." You then win your bet and you get to roll again. That's all there is to the game of craps.

How to play Craps
Online Craps is the classic casino dice game that offers more betting options than just about any game you can play. Essentially, however, you are simply betting on the result of a given roll of the virtual dice.
The object of craps is to correctly guess what number the dice will roll, each time a roll is made.

Online Craps Rules
You are betting on the number the next roll of the dice will display or won't display. There are numerous betting options available but you only need to understand a few of them to play the game, have fun and win.

Come Bets
COME bets are made after the POINT has been established. The rules for this bet are the same as the PASS LINE bet.

The wager is placed on the COME field. A wager on the COME field wins if the dice throw immediately following the placement of the bet - is a 7 or 11 and loses if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled.

If the roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the COME POINT is established. To win the bet, you must repeat the COME POINT before a 7 is rolled. If you roll a 7 before the COME POINT is repeated, the COME bet loses.

Once the COME POINT is established, the bet may not be removed or changed.

Pass Line Bet
The wager is placed on the PASS LINE field. A wager on the PASS LINE wins if the COME OUT ROLL is a 7 or 11 and loses if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled first.

Don't Pass Bets
The wager is placed on the DON'T PASS BAR field. A wager on the DON'T PASS BAR wins if the COME OUT ROLL of the dice is a 2 or 3 and loses if a 7 or 11 is rolled first. If you roll a 12, it is considered a tie and play continues.

If the COME OUT roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the POINT is established. To win the bet, you must roll a 7 before the POINT is repeated. If you repeat the POINT before a 7 is rolled the DON'T PASS LINE bet loses.

Once the POINT is established, the bet may not be removed or changed.

If the COME OUT roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the POINT is established. To win the bet, you must repeat the POINT before a 7 is rolled. If you roll a 7 before the POINT is repeated, the PASS LINE bet loses.

Once the POINT is established, the bet may not be removed or changed.
